We offer a full package of documents for legal employment in Slovakia with subsequent issuance of a type D visa for a period of 6-12 months. An official employment contract, a real vacancy and employer support with legalization upon arrival.
Who is eligible:
Citizens of all countries, except for countries with terrorist status
Men and women aged 18 to 55 years old
Persons with basic knowledge of English (A2-B1 level)
Both unskilled workers and professionals (welders, electricians, drivers, etc.)
Documents that the candidate will receive:
A work permit issued officially through the labor exchange
Signed employment contract with the employer
Letter of invitation to work
Letter of guarantee from the company
A letter of accommodation for the period of employment
In some cases, an additional extract from the labor exchange is also issued, which can take up to 28 business days to issue
Required documents from the candidate:
Scanned copy of the passport (first page + stamps). The passport must be valid for at least 12 months from the date of application
CV (resume) with a brief description of experience
Full address of the place of residence
Information about education (required); diploma - if available
Certificates/proofs of qualification (for specialists)
Knowledge of English - A2-B1
Deadlines:
Preparation of basic documents: 21-28 working days
Extract from the labor exchange (if required): up to 28 working days
Delivery of documents by DHL international service: up to 10 days
Waiting for a visa at the consulate: 30-35 working days
Candidate applies to the consulate for visa insertion on his/her own
Additionally:
Type D visa is issued for a period of 6-12 months
The consular service fee is paid by the candidate separately (approximately 60-100 euros)
Documents are issued for 1 year, which allows further extension
Upon arrival, the employer provides assistance in obtaining a TRC (temporary residence permit)
