Welding engineer

Position summary:

The welding engineer is responsible for organizing, supervising, and ensuring the quality of welding operations in production or on construction sites. Duties include checking technical documentation, monitoring welds for compliance with standards, and selecting welding methods and parameters based on materials. The employee coordinates the work of welders, ensures compliance with safety regulations, and monitors the condition of equipment. The position requires technical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work with engineering drawings. This is a key role in the production process, ensuring the quality and safety of metal structures. Key Responsibilities:

• organize and supervise welding operations;

• review technical documentation and drawings;

• determine welding methods and parameters;

• control the quality of welded joints;

• ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of equipment.

Requirements:

• technical education in welding technology or mechanical engineering;

• at least 1 year of work experience (preferred);

• knowledge of MIG/MAG, TIG, and arc welding technologies;

• ability to read technical drawings;

• language: English A1–A2;

• attentiveness, discipline, responsibility.
