Welder

Salary:

• 27,000 – 30,000 CZK/month net

• Overtime paid according to Czech labor legislation

Work Schedule:

• 8–10 hours per day

• 5 working days per week

• Standard daytime shifts

Requirements:

• Experience in welding is required

• Ability to read technical drawings

• Knowledge of safety standards in welding operations

Job Description:

As a welder, you will be performing tasks related to metal fabrication, joining, and structural repairs in accordance with provided technical specifications. The role involves working with a variety of welding techniques and equipment depending on the production process. You will be responsible for ensuring weld integrity, inspecting seams, and maintaining a safe work environment. Work is carried out in industrial facilities or construction sites under the supervision of team leads and engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret welding blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions

• Perform welding on steel structures, pipelines, and components (MMA, MIG/MAG, or TIG depending on qualification)

• Prepare joints and metal surfaces: remove rust, dirt, and clean edges

• Select appropriate welding method, materials, and tools (electrodes, wire, gases)

• Inspect welded seams and correct defects as needed

• Maintain welding equipment and ensure tool readiness

• Follow fire and occupational safety standards

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (helmet, gloves, overalls, etc.)
